Hydrosil™ is an antacid with simethicone that gives relief from gastric pain, wind and gas.

Hydrosil is used for the relief of:

• Pain in gastric ulcer

• Gastric pain

• Discomfort due to excessive acid secretion in the stomach (dyspepsia) and in reflux oesophagitis (heartburn)

Ingredients: Each tablet contains Magnesium Hydroxide 200mg, Dried Aluminium Hydroxide Gel equivalent to Aluminium Hydroxide 200mg, Simethicone 20mg

Directions of Use:

• 2-4 tablets chewed or sucked before swallowing

• To be taken when pain occurs or when expected (usually between meals and before bed)

WARNING

Side Effects: At the recommended usage, Hydrosil is usually well tolerated.

Precaution:

• Hydrosil should be used with caution in patients on dialysis and patient with low-phosphate diets

• Avoid prolonged use of Hydrosil

Contraindication:

• Patients with gastrointestinal obstruction

• Renal insufficiency

• Low plasma concentration of phosphate (hypophosphataemia)
